Hey Nate-
I changed my bars. I'm almost certain the stock bars are 1". I replaced mine with Harley-Davidson 1-inchers.
However, I did have some minor problems getting the controls on the bars, as they are eliptical or oval in certain spots.
In the end, it all worked out well. I'm thrilled with the results. See my handlebar job at the link below...
